Jay Clifford was the voice behind one of my favorite groups, Jump Little Children (later shortened to just Jump). JLC are apparently no more, but Clifford released a solo CD in late 2007 that I managed to miss. “Driving Blind” is a pleasing listen - although it is slower and more dark than what I had grown to expect from JLC.

Still, Clifford’s silky smooth vocals and clever lyrics make for an engaging work. The CD is available from Amazon.com as well as individual MP3’s. If you were a fan of Jump Little Children, it’s hard to imagine that you won’t find this release appealing, in spite of its softer tone.
